Which Type of Carbon Steel Piping Is Best?

One is not better than the others. It just depends on your application and your budget for the steel. There are different specs and grades for carbon steel, compared to other steel that has different properties.

What grades are commonly used?
Grade A36 is most widely used for low-pressure applications like plumbing, process piping due to its excellent weldability.

What diameter ranges can be supplied?
Diameters from 1/8″ to 60″ are standard. Pipes can be produced in smaller or larger diameters as well.

What end finishes are provided?
